association's Jeep

The USST 488 association has a Jeep, restored to working order by the on-board team. Originally this vehicle was used by the Captain of H.C.C 332 (Harbor Craft Company) to connect his home base and the tugboat. Photo on the right the captain of the H.C.C 333 and his jeep

DUKW 353 at the Musée Maritime et portuaire

The team of the tugboat USST 488 is also working with members of the Maritime and Port Museum of Le Havre to put the DUKW 353 (nicknamed DUCK) back into service so that it is operational for the festivities of the 80th anniversary of the Landing of June 1944 .

Restart completed (September 2024)
Ready for the commemorations of the liberation of Le Havre and the surrounding villages (Octeville sur Mer, Fontaine la Mallet, Montivilliers)
